My wife and I are proud parents of a 125 pound baby boy by the name of Walter McKeegan.  Like so many pet owners, he is our pride and joy.  So, when he came down with a severe case of Kennel Cough that transformed into Pneumonia we were considerably nervous and scared.  On a typical day he meets us at the door with a stuffed animal in mouth wagging his tail and excitedly giving us “hugs” by crawling between our legs.  Well, while he had Pneumonia he was lethargic, barely lifting his head off of his bed when we came home from work.  Not eating any food or drinking any water.  Overall, just sad looking.  We probably waited too long, but that is the point that we took him in to see Dr. Sven.
When Dr. Sven looked at him he knew instantly that the pneumonia was taking over and he needed attention quickly.  Suggesting that we get him fluids immediately he hooked him up to an IV and keep him overnight in his care so as to get him a good start to recovery.  
When came back the next morning Walter looked better already.  While not back to 100% yet, we could see a difference in the way that he was acting.  He held himself tall and you could see in his eyes that he believed that he would get better.  Dr. Sven told us that he did very well overnight, that he was now full of fluids and gave us medication to give him once we got him home.
The next day and a half was still not easy.  He still didn’t want to eat, and drinking was even a chore.  We had to pry his mouth open to give him his medication and use a syringe to wash it down with some water, but after about a day, things got better, and by the end of the weekend, he seemed to be back to his happy self. 
We’ve always had trust in Dr. Sven, but this experience help us realize just how much he cared about not only Walter, but us as a family.  He checked in on us regularly to see how Walter was doing and made sure Walter was making steady progress.  
We highly recommend Dr. Sven to any pet owner out there.  He not only takes care of Walter, but he looks after our parent’s dog Buddy and sisters dog Parker.  They are the best of friends and we know that in Dr. Sven’s care that they will have each other for as long as they can. - Flynn & Holli M.

When we moved into the area and our new neighbors saw we had pets, they immediately recommended Dr Sven.   We couldn't be more satisfied.  Our terriers are getting up in age and need a lot more care.  Dr Sven always finds time to see them, checks up on them after visits and gives them the attention and care they need.   He is great explaining their health issues and always provides sound advice and reasonable options.   Over the years we have seen vets whose business is their first priority.  With Dr Sven, our dogs' care and well being is his first priority.  I never feel like we are being "up sold" or pressured to get tests/treatments that aren't necessary.  We feel like patients not a sales opportunity.  We trust Dr Sven will do the right thing.   We trust him with our beloved pets and recommend him to anyone.   - Mark T.
